Klamath County is home to Crater Lake National Park (http://www.crater-lake.com). It is about 45 minutes away from the city, but well worth the drive. The Klamath Basin is rated #1 in the West on Sunset Magazine's list of Fantastic Five Birding destinations (http://www.klamathbirding...). Klamath is also home to the Klamath County Museum (http://www.co.klamath.or....) which has many artifacts and relics from pioneer days, along with many native american items.
